We live, work, and boat-school aboard our sailboat, OHANA.

Join us on our adventure of living our dream of freedom and family.

Why is it when you are sailing in the ocean your boat seems much smaller than it really is, when you're approaching a dock it seems much larger than it really is, and when you are trying to polish it up, it seems like the hull numbers should start with CVN?
Only 35 more feet to go....

Can anyone tell me when was the last time that the hull of this boat shined like this?

We are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel! Lots of progress made in the past few days. Got the entire interior cleaned out (including all the stuff left by the prior owner), bleached, scraped old paint and 1 cabin's holds repainted. Fiberglassed the remainder of the holes on the keel and fixed the bad repair we found on the stem. Also tested out the fit for our sweet new bow protector Ray designed.

Another hard Day's work is in the bag. The cockpit drain seacock is in and the Non-skid is done!

With the Kiwi-Grip down on half of the foredeck, it's easy to see where Ohana was once headed, and now where we are taking her.

Ugh... It's got to get worse to get better. Just keep telling yourself that...
